AXTELL — The Granger High School varsity boys and girls track and field teams competed Wednesday, March 13 as the Lions and Lady Lions competed at Axtell High School. The Lady Lions placed second as a team and the Lions were an eighth-place finisher.
GRANGER LADY LIONS
1st - Brooklyn Gaswint, Carli Cadena, Jasmine Leamer and Montana Moore in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:54.21.
1st - Montana Moore in the long jump with a mark of 14 feet seven inches.
1st - Brooklyn Gaswint, Carli Cadena, Jasmine Leamer and Montana Moore in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:27.81.
2nd - Montana Moore in the triple jump with a mark of 31 feet 0.25 inches.
3rd - Brooklyn Gaswint, Carli Cadena, Jasmine Leamer and Marissa Hall in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 53.84 seconds.
3rd - Eva Ramirez in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:50.00.
4th - Marissa Hall in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.56 seconds.
5th - Montana Moore in the high jump with a mark of four feet six inches.
5th - Brooklyn Gaswint in the pole vault with a mark of six feet.
GRANGER LIONS
1st - Trae Herrera in the long jump with a mark of 18 feet 11.5 inches.
2nd - Joseph Sifuentes in the high jump with a mark of five feet six inches.
3rd - Isaac Campos in the high jump with a mark of five feet four inches.
4th - Caleb Hobratsch, Joseph Sifuentes, Lucas Matta and Trae Herrera in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:36.65.
4th - Kye Welles in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:53.00.
4th - Caleb Hobratsch, Lucas Matta, Trae Herrera and Wyatt Rochner in the 4x400meter relay with a time of 3:39.52.
6th - Noah Gonzales in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 22.28 seconds.
6th - Caleb Hobratsch, Joseph Sifuentes, Lucas Matta and Trae Herrera in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.14 seconds.
Granger track and field will next compete Thursday, March 21 at the Thorndale Relays.
