An early morning fire Saturday caused a duplex to be deemed a total loss.
The unit was located at the Olson Village apartment complex, 311 E. Seventh St. The cause of the blaze is under the investigation of the Taylor Fire Department and no injuries were reported.
According to Shea Goltzman, executive director of the Taylor Housing Authority, this was the first fire at one of her agency's complexes in about 20 years. Goltzman also said the fire was extinguished quickly by Taylor fire.
