Naomi Pasemann Elementary fifth graders raised the most for the Pasemann Pennies Scholarship fund. The fundraising comes from this year’s Penny War, which featured the campus raising $1,180.07.
Naomi Pasemann came up with the idea for Pasemann Pennies, saying that every $100 starts with a penny.
For years, she presented three to four scholarships to seniors that were former Pasemann students along with a shiny new penny, and the tradition she started continues today.
