TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

SEPT. 6

John Crayton, 40, of Taylor, at 6:16 p.m., in the 500 block of Carlos Parker Blvd. SW, officers responded to a report of a major motor vehicle collision. An investigation revealed a 2005 Dodge Pickup Truck, driven by Crayton, struck a 2013 Toyota Avalon in the intersection of Carlos Parker Blvd. SW and FM 973. The two adult occupants of the Toyota Avalon died as a result of the collision. Crayton was found to have been operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Crayton was arrested and charged with two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter, a seconddegree felony. Crayton posted bonds that totaled $200,000 and was released Sept. 7.

SEPT. 8

David Leon, 35, of Taylor, at 6:34 p.m., in the 400 block of Howard St., officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle, a 2013 black Chevrolet Malibu, was recovered by Taylor police officers. Leon admitted to stealing the vehicle and was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony. The charges were dismissed/declined, and Leon was released Sept. 11.

SEPT. 10 Adrian Costilla, 31, and Gilbert Costilla, 57, of Taylor, at 7:12 p.m., 200 block of W. Fourth St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers observed Adrian Costilla, who approached and began to threaten officers.

Adrian Costilla physically assaulted officers before being arrested, and was charged with assault on a public servant, a thirddegree felony. Gilbert Costilla was observed to be intoxicated and was arrested and charged with public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor. Adrian Costilla posted bond for $25,000 and was released Sept. 12. Gilbert Costilla posted bond for $100 and was released Sept. 11.
