GEORGETOWN — Taylor-based Rhonda Redden is one of three Williamson County justices of the peace recently taking a leadership role in a statewide judicial and law-enforcement organization.
Redden, the Precinct 4 justice; Precinct 2’s Angela Williams; and Evelyn McLean of Precinct 3 have been appointed to governance positions with the Justices of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas.
Redden is a District 7 director, while Williams is a Legislative Committee member and McLean is on the Judicial Education Committee.
“These women are not only leading some of the busiest courts in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, but they are also dedicating time and energy to strengthening the justice system statewide,” said JPCA President Carlos Lopez. “Their service is a testament to their professionalism, leadership and dedication to justice.”
The JPCA supports and educates justices of the peace and constables across Texas, while also serving as a voice on legislative matters, officials said.
Williams and McLean also hold leadership positions in the Central Texas Justices of the Peace and Constables Association.
McLean is the president and Williams is a judge advocate, officials said.
