A juvenile living just outside of Taylor is recovering after being shot last week.
The minor suffered a non-life-threatening injury and is expected to make a full recovery, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident is believed to be isolated, deputies said.
Shortly after midnight July 24, deputies responded to a report of gunfire at a residence on CR 404 just outside the Taylor city limits.
The juvenile who was wounded was taken to an area hospital.
The subject who reportedly fired the weapon is a juvenile as well.
Because the cause involves minors, neither of their identities will be released, deputies said.
More details may be forthcoming at a later time, according to authorities.
