A 17-year-old woman and a 48-yearold man were arrested by Taylor officers responding at 10:05 p.m. to a disturbance in the 900 block of Cecelia Street. According to investigators, a woman initiated unwanted physical contact with another person and a man then physically assaulted a household member. The teen was charged with assault by contact, a Class C misdemeanor, and the male was charged with assault with injury, a third-degree felony.

Taylor police investigating a reported theft at Walmart, 3701 N. Main St., at 10:50 p.m. ended up briefly chasing a 30-year-old man before he was caught and charged with evading arrest, a Class B misdemeanor.
NOV. 29
At 8:08 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Main Street, a 35-year-old Taylor man was arrested on a city warrant charging him with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
NOV. 30
It was double trouble for a 45-yearold Taylor man arrested at 1:19 a.m. in the 600 block of Talbot Street, initially on a warrant out of Taylor for criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
During the apprehension, police said the man was found with suspected methamphetamine, so he also was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.
