At 1:19 a.m., a 46-year-old Taylor man was arrested in the 600 block of Talbot Street on a city warrant charging him with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor. Officers also found suspected methamphetamines on him, leading to another charge — possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, a state jail felony.

At 1 p.m. officers with the Taylor Police Department learned a 30-yearold local man was served a warrant charging him with theft of more than $100, a Class B misdemeanor.
DEC. 7
A 34-year-old man found out drinking and shooting do not mix . At 1:12 a.m. Taylor police heard shots fired in the 1000 block of West Second Street.
Officers located a man who appeared to be intoxicated and had a gun. He was charged with public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor, and unlawfully carrying a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.
