At 3:34 p.m., Taylor Police Department officers during a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Samsung Highway picked up an 18-year-old man named in a outstanding warrant out of Travis County for probation violation-deadly conduct, a thirddegree felony.
JAN. 7
At 7 a.m., Taylor police learned a 24-year-old man charged in a city warrant with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, was arrested by another agency.
JAN. 9
At 2:46 p.m., Taylor police stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of Northwest Carlos G. Parker Boulevard and found a 20-year-old Taylor man with a handgun. He was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.
JAN. 11
At 11:40 a.m., Taylor police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Everglades Avenue and discovered a 51-year-old man was suspected of physically assaulting and hurting a household member. The individual was charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
At 2:11 a.m., Taylor police responded to a disturbance in the 2100 block of Holly Springs Drive and were told a 28-year-old man caused unwanted physical contact with a member of the household. He was charged with assault by contact/family violence, a Class C misdemeanor.
