FEB. 3
At 10:41 p.m., Taylor Police Department officers arrested a 43-yearold man in the 2500 block of Davis Street who was named in warrants from two jurisdictions, both larceny charges — one from the Austin Police Department and the other originating with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
FEB. 4
Local officers arrested a 30-year-old Taylor man in the 200 block of South Main Street during a traffic stop who was wanted on an outstanding warrant; he also possessed suspected narcotics.
The warrant charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony. He also was booked on possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram, a third-degree felony.
FEB. 6
At 1 a.m., Taylor police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Bland Street and were told a 39-year-old man physically assaulted a pregnant woman. The suspect was charged with assault with injury to a pregnant person, a third-degree felony.
At 8:23 a.m., municipal law enforcement responded to a report of damage to a window at the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce, 1519 N. Main St. A 44-year-old Taylor man is suspected of throwing rocks at the windows, which broke them. He was charged with criminal mischief of more than $2,500, a state jail felony.
FEB. 7
At 1:10 p.m., Taylor police rushed to a reported disturbance in the 4000 block of Kings Canyon Drive where a 39-yearold woman was accused of assaulting a household member. She was charged with assault with injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
At 10:15 p.m., city officers responding to a disturbance in the 700 block of Westchester Road observed a 41-yearold Taylor man who appeared to be intoxicated. He was charged with public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor.
