1). What motivated you to run for Mayor of Taylor?
I moved to Taylor in September 2022 and quickly saw why people care so deeply about this place. There is real pride here.
Families with generations of history live alongside young couples putting down roots for the first time. That balance is special.
What pushed me to run was the growing sense that we are at a turning point. Growth is accelerating, costs are rising and major decisions
are being made that will shape Taylor for decades.
2). What is your campaign strategy?
My strategy is straightforward and personal. I am building support the old-fashioned
way by showing
up. I will knock on doors, host small gatherings, stay active online and make myself accessible. People deserve direct answers.
I am also laying out my reasoning publicly so voters can see exactly how I approach decisions. This campaign is about earning trust one conversation at a time.
3). If elected, what changes will you bring to the table?
If elected, I will focus on three priorities: communication, infrastructure and disciplined growth. First, residents deserve clear explanations before major votes, especially when it comes to spending, incentives, annexation or long-term agreements.
Second, infrastructure must lead growth, not chase it. Planning must be coordinated so projects work together rather than creating new strain.
Third, growth should pay its fair share. Major developments should contribute to the infrastructure and services they impact.
4). What can voters expect from you?
Voters can expect visibility, consistency and honesty. I will not promise what a mayor cannot legally deliver.
I will explain what is possible, what is not, and why. When challenges arise, I will address them directly rather than avoiding them.
I speak Spanish fluently, which allows me to connect with more members of our community and ensure communication is clear and inclusive. Most importantly, I will show up.
Leadership in a town like Taylor is not about titles. It is about presence, follow-through, and steady decisionmaking when it matters.
