A Taylor family has a roof over its heads thanks to a program through the Williamson County Emergency Medical Services.
The county’s EMS has a program titled “Community Health Program,” which works proactively to support residents by addressing not only health-related challenges, but social and environmental issues as well. The Sanchez family of Taylor had been living in a tent when CHP identified an opportunity to assist by coordinating the donation and delivery of a travel trailer, providing them with safe and stable shelter.
“This effort shows how partnerships and community support can make a real difference in people’s lives,” said Amy Jarosek, WCEMS clinical commander. “By working together, we were able to help provide a safer and more stable living situation for this family.”
