OCCUPATION: Retired Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology
POSITION THAT YOU’RE RUNNING FOR: Hutto City Council, Place 3
If elected, what will be your top priority?
Property Taxes. The cost of living in Hutto is out of control based on many factors outside of the city of Hutto but the city council must do its part to reduce its burden on taxpayers.
The Hutto city council must keep costs down this year until property valuations start to add $10 Billion when the Data Centers come fully online. The Present Hutto valuations are $5 Billion. This is going to be a huge increase and will help offset the tax burden on existing citizens of Hutto.
What is the biggest issue facing Hutto right now?
Traffic Congestion. As a current member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the city of Hutto must complete the existing transportation and roads projects outlined in the Capital Improvement Projects (CIP); of which all are fully funded.
Why are you running?
The city of Hutto is in the middle of a very high growth period with increasing demand on our critical infrastructure which include roads, water, public safety, commercial and residential development. The citizens of Hutto need effective leadership to manage the multitude of demands on city services without breaking the bank. And in this case the bank means you and your pocket books. I am that person to lead in these critical times for Hutto.

Why should residents vote for you?
I’ve spent the past 13 years involving myself in just about every Hutto Commissions and Boards and associated city department. I already have a unique collection of knowledge about how Hutto functions behind the scenes, which is critical for any city council member. Specifically, Planning and Zoning and my present term on the Ethics Review Commission.
Combined with my engineering, analytics, and career of problem solving, I feel quite qualified to help make critical decisions that will benefit the citizens of Hutto.
All citizens of Hutto — the vocal, the silent and the unknowing (probably the largest and most important group). Never forget the Little, the Least, the Last, and the Lost.
