The homecoming duke is Jose Valverde, and homecoming duchess is Sofia Bernal. The Granger Lions went on to win the homecoming game over the Bremond Tigers, 31-28. One dead after collision
A motorcyclist killed in a collision involving a sportutility vehicle became Taylor’s fourth traffic fatality of the year. The Williamson County District Attorney’s Office is working to determine if charges will be filed after officers reported the SUV driver left the scene of the accident. 10/15/2022 04:23 PM

Taylor’s CFO talks utility bills, the budget and being “giddy”
Taylor’s Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Wood is not usually too giddy, but lately people have been calling him that. “I’m probably the opposite of giddy,” said the Michigan native, who has been serving as Taylor’s CFO since March of 2019. “That was a comment that was made during the budgeting process. The Taylor High School band and color guard claimed their third class Saturday at the Lost Pines Marching Festival in Bastrop. The Taylor band won the 4A Championship after receiving the highest 4A scores in music and visuals in the preliminary round. 10/12/2022 07:32 AM
