Last week, a Jewish woman in our community emailed the Taylor Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee expressing her feelings of discrimination, fear, and frustration about the planned Christmas parade. Following the second parade, there will be festivities at Heritage Square Park, including a Christmas tree lighting, caroling, a live band performance, arts and crafts for the kids, and an elf on the shelf for photo opportunities. The 1962 O. L. Price State Championship trophy now has a home in the Taylor High School trophy case. Led by Coach Edward “Bud” Elder, the O. L. Price Panthers defeated Dayton Colbert 42-6 and won the 1962 Prairie View Interscholastic League (PVIL) Class A state championship. 11/26/2022 12:00 AM
