BURNET -- The Taylor Ducks varsity football team picked up a 49-30 victory over the Burnet Bulldogs on Friday, Sept. 4, at Burnet High School.
Junior quarterback Johnny Guzman accounted for six touchdowns, scoring twice on the ground and throwing four touchdown passes to sophomore wide receiver Jeremiah Caldwell.
Senior running back Kavon Godwin scored the Ducks' final touchdown of the game as Taylor improved to 2-0 overall.
The Ducks will return home Friday, Sept. 11, for their home opener against Elgin.
