St. Mary’s Rams defeated the Coupland Cowboys 52-7 on Friday, Sept. 4, at Taylor Memorial Field in the first six-man football game in Coupland program history.
Coupland’s inexperience showed early as the Cowboys fell behind 44-7 at halftime. The Rams used a strong rushing attack to pull away for the blowout victory.
St. Mary’s (1-1) will take on Summit Christian Academy on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. Coupland will face the New Braunfels Thunder on Thursday at 7 p.m. Both games will be played at Taylor Memorial Field.
