These students earned this award because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 or advanced placement exams. Taylor ISD names January students of the month
Taylor High School has named Skyler Pyles as their January student of the month. She always comes to class with a positive attitude and always gets right to work. She has pushed herself in ceramics class to try new pieces and doesn't build what is just comfortable and easy. She also puts a great deal of effort into her AP World History class, and she is always kind and polite. 02/19/2022 09:37 AM

Harriet Tubman was born in 1822 and was an American abolitionist and humanitarian. She is known for her work as a scout and spy for the United States Army during the Civil War. Business is blooming again at Taylor Garden Center. A perennial favorite of local gardeners since 2018, the nursery reopens their doors on Friday, Feb. 25. The reopening will showcase a larger variety of flowers, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs plus the addition of a houseplant section and potted succulents. 02/19/2022 09:37 AM
