Luther William Herber passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 9th, 2026 at the age of 93.

He was born October 7, 1932, in Lockney, Texas, to Reverend Ewald H. Herber and Hildegard E. Rauschenbach Herber.

He married Ruth Wuthrich in 1955 and together they raised their family with love and faith in God. Their twin sons, Kevin and Keith, arrived first in 1959 and then their girl, Kimberley Dawn, in 1961.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Kati and Mariam; a brother, Harry; his wife, Ruth; and his son, Kevin.

He is survived by his son, Keith; daughter, Kim Wicheta and husband Tom; two daughters- in-law, Kim Fair and Rene Herber; three granddaughters, Kasey Diffie (Joe), Lauren Moldenhour (Jeremy), and Shelby Nyland (Cole); grandsons Tyler Cage (Kassidy) and William; and four great-grandchildren, Jayme, Evelyn, Carter, and Clayton. https://www.centraltexascremation. com/ obituaries/luther-herber/#!/ Obituary
