Three teenagers were arrested for their reported roles in the non-fatal June shooting of a Hutto teenager.
The Hutto Police Department served warrants for the arrests of an 18-year-old and two 17-year-old suspects Tuesday. As of Tuesday evening, the names of the suspects have not been released.
On June 1, Hutto police responded to a shooting at a residence on the 200 block of Phillips Street. A juvenile male sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital but has since been released.
According to Hutto police, evidence and information developed during the investigation revealed connections to cases being investigated by other law enforcement agencies. Although Hutto police wouldn't release the names of the suspects, the department confirmed none of the suspects were residents of Hutto.
