TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

SEPT. 1

At 4:15 p.m., Taylor police apprehended a 27-year-old woman in the 200 block of West MLK Jr. Blvd. on two outstanding Class A warrants out of Taylor for failure to identify as a fugitive and tampering with government

record.

SEPT. 2

Officers at 2:07 p.m. contacted a 36-year-old Taylor woman in the 200 block of West Oak Street wanted on an outstanding warrant from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles-Austin for possession of a dangerous drug, a state jail felony.

She ran off but officers managed to arrest her, only to discover she possessed suspected methamphetamine. In addition to the warrant, she also was charged with evading arrest on foot with a previous conviction, a state jail felony, and possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram, a second-degree felony.

SEPT. 6

At 7:26 p.m., Taylor police rushed to a disturbance in the 400 block of Sams Street and learned a 32-year-old Taylor man assaulted a member of the household. After his arrest, he was charged with assault/family violence, a Class C misdemeanor.

SEPT. 7

At 2:07 a.m., Taylor police responded to the 200 block of North Main Street where a 21-year-old man who made threats about using a firearm was being held by several others. He then spat on officers during his arrest.

He has been charged with two counts of harassment of a public servant, a third-degree felony; terroristic threat, a Class B misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor.

Local officers at 1:17 p.m. apprehended a 38-year-old woman in the 100 block of West MLK Jr.

Blvd. with two outstanding warrants for probation violation-credit/debit card abuse, a state jail felony, out of Williamson County; and theft of less than $100, a Class C misdemeanor, out of Taylor.
