REMEMBERING 9/11
The Taylor (right) and Georgetown fire departments hold up a U.S. flag over North Main Street in Taylor Thursday evening during the 24th annual Patriots Day Parade in Taylor. The event featured first responders from various police and fire departments including Taylor, Hutto, Bartlett, Georgetown, Leander and Liberty Hill. The parade takes place each year on Sept. 11 to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. More photos can be seen on pages 2 and 11 of this edition.
