At 10:04 p.m., Taylor Police Department officers during a traffic stop in the 2000 block of West Second Street learned a 53-year-old Taylor man operated the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, leading to his arrest. The motorist was charged with driving while license invalid with previous convictions, a Class A misdemeanor.
SEPT. 10
At 12:24 p.m., Taylor police responded to a reported threat in the 1300 block of West Seventh Street. An investigation revealed a 45-year-old Taylor man threatened a member of the household with a firearm. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
SEPT. 11
Taylor police at 10:49 p.m. rushed to a disturbance in the 200 block of North Main Street where they learned a 60-year-old Taylor man was on the property after previously being issued a criminal-trespass warning. The individual was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
SEPT. 12
At 7:04 p.m., officers arriving in the 300 block of South Doak Street investigated reports a 45-year-old Taylor man was spotted at a residence where he had been barred under a criminaltrespass warning. He was arrested for that offense, a Class B misdemeanor, and also charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, a state jail felony, after contraband was discovered on him.
SEPT. 13
At 4:33 a.m., Taylor police investigating a fracas in the 200 block of Highland Drive determined a 37-yearold man illegally entered the residence and physically assaulted a household member, causing injury. After a brief a vehicle pursuit, officers caught up to the suspect, arrested him and charged him with assault with injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor, and burglary of a habitation, a seconddegree felony. During a traffic stop at 9:49 p.m. in the 200 block of North Doak street, Taylor police placed a 22-year-old Taylor man under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
