TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

SEPT. 15

At 2:29 p.m., a 54-year-old Taylor man with four outstanding warrants out of McLennan County turned himself in to the Taylor Police Department. The charges include failure to comply as a sex offender, burglary of a vehicle, resisting arrest and indecent exposure. At 7:08 p.m., police making a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Old Granger Road charged a 54-year-old Taylor man with driving while license invalidenhanced due to previous convictions, a Class B misdemeanor.

SEPT. 16

At 11:59 p.m., police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Porter Street to investigate reports a 37-yearold Taylor man physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. He was charged with assault with injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor, and also with possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram, a state jail felony, after officers discovered suspected methamphetamine.

SEPT. 17

At 7:33 a.m., officers arrested a 30-year-old Taylor man during a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Second Street on an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.

At 12:57 p.m., law officers rushing to a fracas in the 1200 block of Frink Street were told a 41-year-old Taylor man physically assaulted an elderly member of the household. The individual was charged with injury to the elderly, a third-degree felony. At 3:46 p.m., a 50-year-old Taylor woman turned herself in to authorities because she had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for injury to a child, a second-degree felony.

SEPT. 18

At 2:23 a.m., Taylor police placed a 31-year-old Taylor man under arrest during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Second Street. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

At 8:05 a.m., officers arrested a 31-year-old Taylor man in the 300 block of East Ninth Street on an outstanding warrant out of Round Rock for theft of property more than $100, a Class B misdemeanor.
