Police seek help solving crimes

AUTO BURGLARIES

A string of auto breakins Thursday morning has Taylor police asking for the public’s help to solve the crimes.

According to a socialmedia post from the Police Department, four vehicles were stolen and a fifth vehicle was reportedly burglarized from 12:30-4 a.m.

Officers in Taylor and Temple recovered the stolen vehicles.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage is asked to call the Taylor department at 512-3525551 or email cid@taylortx.

gov. According to the post, a vehicle lifted in Temple was found in the 1800 block of North Lynn Street, along with a a GMC Yukon which went missing from the 100 block of Janice Road in Taylor.

In addition, officers discovered a Kia Sportage in the 500 block of Hosack Street after it disappeared from the 200 block of Highland Drive.

A Kia Forte taken from the 1000 block of Burkett Street was later found in Temple.

A resident reported the burglary of a vehicle in the 100 block of Janice Road, investigators said.

Taylor and Temple police believe multiple suspects were involved.
