TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

SEPT. 29

At 8:05 p.m., Taylor officers pulled over a 43-year-old Taylor woman in the 400 block of West Lake Street and discovered she operated the vehicle with an invalid license. After her arrest, she was charged with driving while license invalid-enhanced due to previous convictions, a Class B misdemeanor.

SEPT. 30

Taylor police stopped a 42-year-old man in the 1700 block of North Main Street and discovered he was wanted on seven state jail felony warrants out of Forth Worth charging him with burglary of a building. He was arrested.

OCT. 2

At 7:10 p.m., Taylor police apprehended a 24-year-old man in the 1000 block of Alexander Street. He was named in a warrant issued by Milam County for criminal mischief more than $2,500, a state jail felony.

OCT. 3

When responding at 7:08 a.m. to a criminal-trespass report at Walmart, 3701 N. Main St., officers said a 54-year-old Taylor man was in the store after having been issued a criminal trespass warning banning him from the property. Following his arrest, the man was charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.

Taylor police conducted a traffic stop at 2:30 p.m. in the 500 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Officers discovered the suspect – a 55-year-old Taylor man – was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The motorist was charged with driving while license invalid-enhanced due to previous convictions, a Class B misdemeanor.

OCT. 4

Taylor police responded to a criminal-trespass report at 11:18 p.m. in the 100 block of Janice Road. An investigation revealed a 21-year-old Taylor woman entered the residence without permission. She was charged with criminal trespass of a habitation, a Class A misdemeanor.
