It was total domination by the Taylor football team during its annual homecoming game Friday night at the Duck Pond.
The Ducks scored on all but one offensive possession in a 62-0 rout of Austin Northeast. It marked the second time in as many games Taylor (3-4, (3-0 in district) shut out the opposition.
The Ducks also beat Austin Achieve Academy, 73-0, Oct. 3. Like the previous game, this one featured a running clock during the last three quarters.

Also in the first quarter, Eric Walker scored on a 13-yard run and Johnny Guzman had a 15-yard touchdown run and connected with Elijah Afenkhena for a 50-yard score. In the second quarter, Guzman connected with Zavier Stokes for a seven-yard touchdown pass and scored on a 15-yard run to give the Ducks a 49-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, Jeremiah Caldwell connected with Afenkhena for a 33-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and scored on a 30-yard run in the fourth. Northeast was limited to 48 yards of total offense in the loss.
