The Taylor Ducks varsity football team fell 63-19 to Canyon Lake in the bi-district round of the playoffs on Friday, Nov. 14, at Lions Stadium in Lockhart.
The Ducks got off to a hot start with a touchdown to make it 6-0, but Canyon Lake was able to dominate as it outscored Taylor 63-13 the rest of the way. Taylor finished the season 5-6 and 5-1 in the district. Taylor's postseason drought continues as it has not won a playoff game since the 2016-17 season, when it defeated Burnet, 42-6.
