Williamson County deputies put the brakes on four men of interest to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after one reportedly fired a gun while standing in a moving car’s sunroof on U.S. 79 early Monday.
The car, headed east from Hutto, was driven by an associate of the man suspected of shooting the firearm and was chased by deputies to Taylor’s city limits shortly after 5 a.m., investigators said.
No persons or vehicles were hit by gunfire during the pursuit, officials said.
Benjamin Figuerebo Tortolero, 24, is charged with disorderly conduct-displaying a weapon, unlawful carry of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance, according to records.
