Williamson County voters will be subjected to vote in their neighborhood polling locations on March 3.
Under a new state law which passed in November, both county political parties must agree on using countywide polling locations. Since the Williamson County Republican Party decided it no longer wants to offer countywide polling locations on Primary election Day, voters must vote in the polling place within the precinct of their residence.
Since 2013, Williamson County has offered countywide polling. Early voters will be able to use countywide voting, but those who wait for election day will be forced to vote in the precinct of residence.
