Taylor hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday afternoon signaling the start of construction of the Donna Channel Drainage Improvements Project near Davis Street and Brookwood Circle. Officials said improvements include repairing channel slopes, banks and retaining walls; replacing the cross-culvert at Drake Lane; replacing the pedestrian bridge in Bull Branch Park; and revamping the asphalt trail in the park with concrete.
