At 1:44 p.m., Taylor Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of West Second Street and arrested a 59-year-old woman suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

At 4:26 p.m., Taylor police responded to a reported disturbance in the 1000 block of West Seventh Street. A 37-year-old Taylor man suspected of physically assaulting a member of the household was charged with assault with injury and unlawful restraint – both Class A misdemeanors.
