FEB. 17
At 6:58 a.m., Taylor Police Department officers responded to reports of an assault at a home in the 2200 block of Gladnell Street. During the investigation, officers were told an older member of the household was attacked and injured. A 50-yearold man was charged with injury to elderly-family violence, a thirddegree felony.
At 9:30 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of North Main Street for a report of an unwanted person.
Officers located a 77-year-old man with an active criminal trespass warning that barred him from the property. He was charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
FEB. 18
At 9:59 a.m., Taylor police arrested a 33-year-old man charged in a warrant with criminal mischief, Class A misdemeanor.
FEB. 19
At 11:19 p.m., Taylor law officers responded to a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Cottonboll Drive. After pulling the motorist over, police discovered the 43-year-old man drove a stolen vehicle and had two outstanding warrants – a Class A misdemeanor out of Taylor for assaultfamily violence and a state-jail felony out of Waco for fraudulent use of a credit card. The suspect was placed under arrest on the two warrants and also a state jail felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
FEB. 20
At 1:17 p.m., officers with the Taylor Police Department apprehended a 52-year-old woman in the 700 block of Clayton Lane who had an outstanding warrant out of Llano County charging her with harassment, a Class B misdemeanor.
At 4:14 p.m., Taylor police arrested a 38-year-old man in the 500 block of West Second Street wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Milam County for burglary of a vehicle, a Class A misdemeanor.
At 7:49 p.m., Taylor police rushed to a reported disturbance at a residence in the 800 block of East Rio Grande Street. Officers said their investigation revealed a 44-year-old man physically assaulted a member of the household by unwanted contact. He was charged with assault by contact-family violence, a Class C misdemeanor.
