LYNN GREEN 1). What motivated you to run for Hutto School Board?
I am running because I believe deeply in the transformative power of high-quality education. As a first-generation college graduate, I understand how education changes the trajectory of families and opens doors to opportunity.
My drive began very early at five years old running a lemonade stand. This is where I learned responsibility, initiative, and the value of dreaming big. Those early lessons shaped my belief that every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.
2). What is your campaign strategy?
My campaign centers on experienced, communityrooted leadership and a clear vision for future-ready students. I am engaging directly with families, educators, and community members to listen and share a consistent message about collaboration, accountability, and student success. Strong schools are built through partnership, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence.
3). If elected, what changes will you bring to the table?
If elected, I will bring steady, experienced leadership grounded in educational expertise and business acumen. My focus will be strengthening college and career readiness pathways, maintaining high academic standards, and ensuring responsible governance.
As both an educator and business leader, I understand the importance of fiscal responsibility and delivering a strong return on investment for taxpayers. Every decision should be student-centered while reflecting thoughtful stewardship of district resources.

Voters can expect professionalism, integrity, and transparency. I will be accessible, prepared, and focused on inspiring excellence across our district.
My commitment is to support teachers, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure Hutto ISD remains a future-ready district where every student has access to high-quality opportunities and the ability to reach their full potential.
