The Granger Lions opened the 2026 season with a dominant 52-12 victory over Louise on Friday, Aug. 28.
Granger controlled the game from start to finish, scoring three touchdowns and recovering three fumbles in the first quarter to take a 21-0 lead.
The Lions continued to pull away in the second quarter, scoring three more times to take a 42-6 advantage into halftime.
Granger added one more touchdown in the fourth quarter while running the clock throughout the second half to close out the victory.
With the win, the Lions improved to 1-0 on the season. Granger will remain home to face Goldthwaite at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
