TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

SEPT. 7

At 8:27 p.m., Taylor Police Department officers pulled a vehicle over in the 200 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and arrested a 47-year-old man wanted on an outstanding city warrant for theft of property, a Class B misdemeanor.

Officers responded to an unwanted person call at 10:42 p.m. in the 900 block of West Third Street after a 52-year-old man passed out in a private residential yard. After waking him, police noticed he was so intoxicated he posed a potential danger to himself and others. He was arrested for public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor.

A 19-year-old Georgetown man surrendered himself to the Williamson County Jail in Georgetown at 1:28 p.m. for the following Taylor warrants: criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor and resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor.

Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 500 block of Wyeth Street at 5:30 p.m. and detained a 21-year-old man on an outstanding city warrant for unlawful restraint, a Class A misdemeanor.

SEPT. 8

At 11:39 p.m. in the 600 block of Porter Street, a 46-year old Taylor man was taken into custody for an outstanding city warrant for burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.

SEPT. 9

At 2:14 a.m., a Taylor Police Department warrant was served on a 22-year-old man incarcerated in the Williamson County Jail in Georgetown, charging him with striking an unattended vehicle, a Class B misdemeanor.

SEPT. 12

Officers stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of West Fifth Street at 11:42 p.m. for speeding through the intersection and driving erratically. The motorist, a 21-year-old woman, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony.

SEPT. 13

At 3:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of an assault in the 900 block of West Third Street and arrested a 51-yearold man for assault by contact – family violence, a Class C misdemeanor.
