The Granger Lions varsity football team picked up a 46-32 road win against the Flatonia Bulldogs on Friday, Sept. 18. This is the first win for the Lions since week one.
Flatonia entered the meeting coming off its first loss of the season, a road game against Nixon-Smiley where they fell 42-22.
Granger now holds a 2-2 record as they look to begin district play on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. when they host the Moody Bearcats.
Moody currently holds a 1-3 overall record with district play beginning next week.
The Lions have not played Moody since 2015, where the Bearcats hosted and took down Granger 46-36.
