Thrall Tiger varsity football hosted San Antonio Christian on Sept. 25, defeating the Lions 34-6 for their last game before district play.
The Tigers entered the match riding a 38-28 victory over Buffalo at home.
Thrall set themselves ahead early, sitting comfortably at 17-0 entering halftime.
San Antonio found their lone touchdown in the third, with the Tigers responding several more times throughout the fourth and finalizing the score at 34-6.
So far in the season the Tigers have only allowed 61 points, a stark change from the 91 points allowed this time last year.
The Tigers are now 4-1 as they head into a bye week. They will return to open district play on the road against Schulenburg Shorthorns on Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
The Shorthorns have yet to find success this season, holding a 0-5 overall record coming off a 49-10 loss by Johnson City.
