Taylor Lady Duck varsity volleyball is on a hot streak, defeating Travis High School in straight sets on the road on Oct. 2 before coming back home to blowout Northeast Early College on Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Ducks have now blown out Travis in their last five meetings, picking up 12 straight set wins against the Lady Rebels in seven years.
In their previous meeting against the Lady Rebels this season, Taylor picked up its second highest win margin of the year with a first set victory of 25-9.
Continuing their success, Taylor returned home on Oct. 6 to take on Northeast Early College Lady Raiders and defeat them 3-0 for a second time this season.
Since the two teams’ first meeting in 2014, Taylor has yet to lose a game to the Lady Raiders.
With these two victories, Taylor holds a 7-1 district record with four games left in the regular season.
The Lady Ducks rested on Friday before traveling to take on LBJ Austin on Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. Taylor hosted the Lady Jaguars for their previous meeting, defeating them in extra sets 3-2.
LBJ Austin is split 3-3 in district play and is ranked fourth in district rankings.
