Hundreds of residents have already cast their votes in the Taylor area, and 21,432 voters have done the same throughout Williamson County.
Of 403,595 registered voters in the county, 5.31% turned out for early voting April 25 through May 2. Hutto’s voting center was open all seven days. Polling locations in Taylor, Thrall and Granger were three days, April 29-May 2, due to reduced items on their communities’ ballots.
Nearly 1,100 residents voted in Hutto. Taylor had 349 people cast their ballot at the city hall. Thrall recorded 164 residents’ votes, and Granger had 210 voters.
