Despite a slow start offensively on the road Jan. 17 against Hearne High School, the Lions battled back and came up just short with a 46-44 hardfought loss to the Eagles. Granger (10-9 overall, 1-4 in district play) under Head Coach Chaston Kuback will continue 2A-District 27 play Jan. 19 at home versus Milano High School and hit the road Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. for another district game against the Tigers of Thrall High School.
