May 18, 2004 — Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson became the oldest person to ever throw a perfect game in MLB history. He retired all 27 batters in a 2-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves. Johnson’s perfect game is one of just 24 recorded in the sport’s history.
