This past Friday, March 18, the Taylor girls powerlifting team competed at the state meet in Corpus Christi.
Rylie Dlouhy placed 11th with a total weight of 720 pounds. She had a squat of 275 pounds, a bench press of 155 pounds and a deadlift of 290 pounds.
Kayshawna Fields finished ninth with a total weight of 760 pounds. She had a squat of 300 pounds, a bench press of 145 pounds and a deadlift of 315 pounds.
Riqueleigh Grant-Homles also placed ninth in her weight class with a total weight of 770 pounds.
She had a squat of 290 pounds, a bench press of 185 pounds. and a deadlift of 295 pounds.
Analise Frias placed ninth in her weight class with a total weight of 975 pounds.
She had a squat of 385 pounds, a bench press of 235 pounds and a deadlift of 355 pounds.
Heavenly Turner took sixth place in her weight class with a total of 875 pounds. Turner had a squat of 380 pounds, a bench press of 195 pounds and a deadlift of 300 pounds.
