COVID Sports 2022
Staffing has recently been interrupted in local schools due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. From Monday, Jan. 17, to Thursday, Jan 20, Hutto ISD schools were closed. That same Thursday and Friday, Granger ISD was also closed. Despite these closures, athletic competitions have continued as scheduled.

Ducks, Lady Ducks open district play
With both teams having eight wins the Ducks and Lady Ducks basketball teams gear up to get district games under way. The Taylor girls were in district action this past Friday hosting Salado.

Taylor coach Adams to gain experience in the northwest
Taylor baseball coach Justin Adams will be spending his summer in the great northwest as he has accepted a position to manage the Dub Sea Fishsticks collegiate summer team (Wood Bat League). The Fishsticks will play in the Pacific International League, in West Seattle, WA and were formerly named the Highline Bears. The team was renamed on Dec. 2, 2021.
