Milano rally sinks Tigerettes
For the second time this season, the Milano Lady Eagles spotted the Thrall Tigerettes (11-12-2 overall, 5-5 District 27-2A) a lead, only to storm back to get the win. On Saturday, Thrall built a 4-0 lead through three innings, but a five-run fifth gave Milano the lead and the Lady Eagles held on for a 6-4 win. 04/05/2023 07:32 AM

THRALL – Three Thrall Tiger pitchers combined for a no-hitter Saturday in a 22-1 blasting of the Chilton Pirates. Carson Ball and Bobby Clark combined to drive in seven runs to help the Tigers (13-6 overall, 5-3 District 27-2A) to the win. 04/05/2023 07:32 AM

AUSTIN – Several Taylor Duck athletes put their best foot forward, some setting new personal best, against tough competition at the 95th annual Texas Relays March 29 – April 1. Ducks flying high after sweeping Caldwell
The Taylor Ducks completed the season series sweep of the Caldwell Hornets Friday, March 31, fueled by a total team effort. The Ducks walked away with a 10-0 victory to increase their win streak to six games as they are just flying past the competition in district play. 04/05/2023 07:32 AM

EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net The Thrall Tigers competed at their district golf meet this past Tuesday at Mustang Creek in Taylor and dominated the course. Los Patos season ends in second round
EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net BRENHAM – The Taylor Ducks boys’ varsity soccer team, known to many as Los Patos, comes to an end in the second round of the playoffs in Brenham. EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net GIDDINGS – The Taylor Lady Ducks varsity softball team now sits with a 2-2 record in district play after defeating the Giddings Lady Buffaloes Tuesday night on the road. Ducks edge out Caldwell for second district win
EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net CALDWELL – The Taylor Ducks varsity baseball team’s hot start continued Tuesday March 28 after picking up a win against the Caldwell Hornets. Coming off a 12-0 win over the Manor New Tech Titans, the Ducks battled the Hornets in a close game where the Ducks came away with a 2-1 win. 03/31/2023 11:10 PM

Tigers thump Bremond
THRALL – Maverick McAllister and Jaden Rodriguez each knocked out three hits Saturday in leading the Thrall Tigers (11-5 overall, 3-3 District 27-2A) to 15-3 win over the Bremond Tigers. Hippos beat Knights for first district win of the season
HUTTO – The Hutto Hippos baseball team picked up their first district win of the season Friday, March 24, after beating the Harker Heights Knights 11-9 on their home field. The Hippos and Knights always have a little extra gas added when they matchup athletically because it is a big rivalry, but the Hippos came away with the win this time. 03/29/2023 10:01 AM
