City tax exemption going up
Taylor’s most vulnerable citizens are set to have some financial relief next tax season. On Thursday, June 9, the Taylor City Council introduced an ordinance to increase the Over 65 Tax Exemption to $40,000 and establish a disabled persons exemption of $40,000.

Nearly on the heels of Taylor landing a future Samsung semiconductor facility, Hutto is joining the high-tech party. On June 8, Hutto’s municipal government and Titan Development announced the latter’s purchase of the Hutto Mega TechCenter from the city.
