Active COVID-19 cases in Taylor last week were close to thei lowest recorded numbers. On Monday, March 7, Mayor Brandt Rydell reported Taylor had an estimated 12 active cases of the coronavirus.

New Potters Alley art sought
Residents have an opportunity to help revitalize art in a downtown Taylor alley. The Taylor Public Arts Advisory Board, an entity created by the Taylor City Council, is issuing a call for proposals to refresh and add new art to Potters Alley, a brick alley way that extends west off Main Street less than a block north of Second Street.

Remember Shrinky Dinks? Older children will have a chance for library fun Wednesday, March 16, to do the retro craft. Teenagers can make a key chain, necklace, bracelet or earrings. They can trace a picture or draw their own. The event will be 2-3 p.m. Advance registration is required.
