Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for the GriefShare program held at Northview Christian Church. The nondenominational program features Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one.

Documentary to screen at Howard
On Saturday, Jan. 22, “Rondo and Bob” will premiere at the Howard Theatre in downtown Taylor. Admission is free, although people are asked to bring a food donation that will go to Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry & Community Ministries in Taylor.

Lions chili supper coming this month
The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Taylor SPJST Hall, located at 5025 FM 619. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and continue to 7 p.m. The event will be drive-thru only. Tickets are available for a $10 donation. A limited number of additional tickets will be available at the door. To get tickets, ask any Lion or call 512-413-0256.

Hutto releases new water fee schedule
HUTTO – In the city of Hutto’s latest strategic move to reduce reliance on outside water sources while optimizing water costs both for the city and its consumers, the City Council voted to reduce water rates for most city of Hutto water customers—effective this month (January 2022).
