Alice Zett

Alice Naizer Zett died June 29, 2025, in Taylor, Texas. She was born Feb. 3, 1926, on the family farm in Granger, Texas, the youngest child of Adolf and Mary Cervenka Naizer.

She was a 1944 graduate of Granger High School. On July 8, 1952, she married Ralph William Zett at the St Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger.

They moved to Rockdale, then to Taylor. Three children were born to their union.

Alice was a devout Catholic, an accomplished seamstress, a talented cook, loved to decorate for each holiday and enjoyed gardening where she was gifted with peace and comfort in a beautiful yard. She and Ralph enjoyed dancing and traveling.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband after 59 years together, infant son Ralph Edward Zett; grandson Paxton Prcin; her brothers and their wives, Emil and Mildred, Adolph and Beatrice, Joe and Rosie, and Raymond; father and mother-inlaw Rudolf and Albina Zett; and Ralph’s siblings and their spouses, Adelaide and August Adamek, Ben and Mary Zett, Chris and Anita Zett, Connie and Rick Bartosh, Dan and Edith Zett, Anna Zett, Bea and Paul Zimmerhanzel, and Valarie and Louis Vrabel.

Survivors include daughter Marla Prcin and husband Darrell, son Thomas Zett and wife Rebecca, grandson Miles Prcin, granddaughters Jennifer Zett Kennedy and Elizabeth Zett, great-grandsons James Aaron Kennedy and Stephen Kennedy and sister-in-law Lillian Naizer. Alice was blessed with many nieces and nephews as well.
