Kevin Dill

Kevin Dill was born to Charles and Shirley Dill in Raleigh, North Carolina on Jan. 17, 1961. He grew up and spent most of his life in Bryan-College Station with his older brother and younger sister, where his father taught at Texas A&M University.
This led to a life of rooting for the fighting Texas Aggies. Through Texas A&M’s extension service, Kevin graduated in 1985.
He met the love of his life, Kathleen, at the Bryan Public Library, where she worked at the time, while repairing the copier. Through her, he developed a lifelong devotion to the Catholic faith.
They married Sept. 25, 1993, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Taylor, Texas and spent 32 years together, accompanied by their three children. His love for music was a constant throughout his life.
He played the trumpet, guitar, and bass guitar and enjoyed live music. As a proud “Dead Head” he was most at home in one of his many Grateful Dead shirts.
Kevin joins his parents Charles and Shirley, with his memory still being shared by his wife, Kathleen Dill; and children, Jessica, Elizabeth, and William; his son-in-law Travis; grandson, James who he happily shared a birthday with; siblings, Charles Dill, Jr. and Susan Hill; and multiple nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held in his honor from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. The funeral mass will convene the following morning at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church followed by the burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
