Mildred Kuhl
Mildred was born Feb. 13, 1935, to William (Dub) and Clara Hubble. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at Wuthrich Hill and grew up in the surrounding areas.
Days after graduating from Thrall High School, she married the love of her life, Erwin Alvin Kuhl, on June 4, 1953. They were blessed with three children and lived on the same rural route all the while.
She loved sewing dresses and pajamas for her kids and grandkids, quilting soft, cozy blankets for her family, and cross-stitching all types of artful pieces, especially Amish farm and buggy scenes.
She spent a tremendous amount of time working in her flower gardens outside, tending to her irises, and watching the hummingbirds. She also loved reading books and doing word search puzzles while listening to Anne Murray CD’s.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her children Beverly Stroud (Garren), David Kuhl (Diane), Cindy Anderson (Justin); grandchildren Philip Stroud, Bethany Lehman (Andrew), Christopher Kuhl (Jill), Megan Medford (Eric), James Kuhl, and Brandon Kuhl; great grandchildren Brock and Blake Kuhl; Evan, Isla, and Etta Lehman; Sadie and Hattie Medford, as well as brother Wayne Hubble (Betty), sistersin- law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at 11 a.m., and visitation took place at 10 a.m. at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Burial followed at Prince of Peace Wuthrich Hill Cemetery.
